Abstract

An archive is a collection of documents that is kept systematically or regularly becausae it has benefits so that it can be accessed quickly when needed. This archive management system plays an importsant role in the office, if the archives are properly management managed, then it well difficult to find stored information and eventually hamper further steps in the work process. Therefore, the archives mus be managed with a good and correct archive arrangment system. The problem with this research is how to implementthe archive management system at the Bekasi Drinking Water Technology hall as well as the obstacles that are encountered in the implementation of archive setup at Bekasi drinking water technology hall. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. This archiving procedure includes the pre-examination stage, data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The results of the research show that archive management includes the creation and reception of archives, storage and arrangement, narrowing and destruction. Inactive dynamic archive processing activities that include archive recording through archive equipment, separating archive and non archive, control and distribution with the date of receipt, date of letter, receipent paraf
