Abstract

This internship report discusses the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in the subject of Handicrafts and Entrepreneurship (PKWU) at SMK Binakarya Mandiri. The Project-based Learning (PjBL) model was chosen because it encourages students to be more active, creative, and independent in the learning process, while also fostering entrepreneurial skills through hands-on experience in planning and executing projects. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation conducted during the internship period. The observations indicate that the application of Project-based Learning (PjBL) has a positive impact on student engagement in learning. However, several challenges were identified, including limited supporting facilities, restricted time allocation, and the readiness of teachers in designing appropriate projects. This report concludes that PjBL is a relevant learning model for the Handicrafts and Entrepreneurship (PKWU) subject, but its effective implementation requires adequate facilities and proper teacher training.
