Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of burnout, work-life balance, and job satisfaction on employee performance among the productive-age population of Bekasi City. This study uses a quantitative research design. The population in this study consists of workers residing in Bekasi City. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability, and the sample determination technique uses purposive sampling. A sample of 100 respondents was taken using the criteria of respondents aged at least 15 to 64 years old, currently working and living in Bekasi City. The data collection technique used in this study was the survey method, which was practiced using a questionnaire. The results of this study, in a partial test (t-test) with a significance level of 5%, showed that the burnout variable had a t-value of -0.888 < t-table of 1.66088 and a Sig. Value of -0.377 > 0.05, indicating that the burnout variable had a negative and insignificant effect. In the partial test (t-test) with a significance level of 5%, the work-life balance variable had a t-value of 3.361 > t-table of 1.66088 and a Sig. value of 0.01, indicating that the work-life balance variable had a positive and significant effect. In the partial test (t-test) with a significance level of 5%, the job satisfaction variable has a t-value of 3.497 and > t-table of 1.66088 and a Sig. value of 0.01 < 0.05, indicating that the job satisfaction variable has a positive and significant effect. In the F test, the significant result has a large f count of 31.092 > the f table of 2.70, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The results of this study indicate that the variables of burnout, work-life balance, and job satisfaction have a simultaneous or combined effect on employee performance. The R Square result in this study is 0.499 or 49.9%. It can be stated that the variables of burnout, work-life balance, and job satisfaction are able to explain employee performance by 49.9%, while the remaining 50.1% is influenced or explained by other variables such as workload, work environment, work discipline, organizational culture, work enthusiasm, compensation, career development, employee engagement, emotional intelligence, family supportive supervisor behavior, transformational leadership, work motivation, and work ethic.
