Abstract

Research Objective : The aim of this study is to examine the influence of liquidity, sales growth, and solvency on capital structure in the manufacturing companies of the consumer goods sector. Design/Methodology/Approach : This research employs a quantitative method and uses purposive sampling techniques, which involve selecting samples based on specific criteria. The sample for this study consists of 35 manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2021. Secondary data obtained directly from financial reports and sustainability reports from www.idx.co.id, www.idnfinancials.com, and the respective company websites are used. The data analysis technique employed to test hypotheses is multiple regression analysis using Eviews12 software. Findings : Based on the research results, it is found that liquidity has a negative and statistically insignificant influence on capital structure disclosure. Similarly, sales growth has a positive and statistically insignificant influence on capital structure, while solvency has a positive and statistically significant influence on capital structure disclosure. Originality : This study focuses on factors influencing capital structure disclosure.
