Abstract

This report discusses the goods procurement process in operational management at PT Sebastian Jaya Metal, a metal component manufacturing company. The study analyzes the procurement flow, from purchase requests to asset recording, and identifies challenges such as raw material price fluctuations and delivery delays. Efficiency evaluation is conducted through cost analysis, cycle time measurement, and supplier performance assessment. The implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in various operational aspects, including work safety, quality control, and waste management, is discussed as an effort to improve operational consistency and effectiveness. The report highlights the importance of effective supply chain management and comprehensive SOP implementation in enhancing operational efficiency and competitiveness in the metal manufacturing industry.
