Abstract

The field work practice organized by STIE Tri Bhakti aims to provide students with the opportunity to get to know the working world, how to work effectively and efficiently. This field work practice program serves as a means to develop competencies and apply the knowledge that has been acquired so that students are able to address issues that arise in the working world. In addition, it adds experience in the working world and trains students to be disciplined and responsible for their work.This internship period is conducted from March 4, 2024, to June 4, 2024. This field work practice is carried out at PT. Sukses Sesama. Placed as a finance admin responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant company financial data. This internship report discusses the process of payment and cash disbursement at PT. Sukses Sesama, the largest aluminum distributor in Indonesia. In the rapidly growing aluminum industry, PT. Sukses Sesama plays a crucial role by purchasing products directly from manufacturers in large quantities to be distributed throughout Indonesia. The company has an organizational structure consisting of various divisions such as accounting, marketing, purchasing, and warehouse & operations. With a focus on recording cash disbursements and receipts, this report discusses the cash disbursement cycle, cash receipt cycle, encountered issues, and steps to overcome them. The inclusion of a bibliography and appendices complements this report.
