Abstract

This report discusses the process of selling car units at the Bekasi branch of the Asco Daihatsu Dealer. The aim of this internship is to understand in depth the stages involved in car sales as well as to analyze the marketing strategies implemented by the dealer. The methods used in this research include direct observation and interviews with employees. The results of the internship show that the sales process at the Bekasi branch of Asco Daihatsu involves several stages in the sales process, such as the Preparation Stage before the sale, the Stage of Determining the Location of Potential Customers, the Stage of Carrying Out the Sales to the Stage of After Sales Service. Each stage is supported by a trained sales team and the use of information technology to make managing customer and transaction data easier.The marketing strategy implemented by this dealer includes promotions via social media, discount offers and attractive credit packages, as well as satisfactory after-sales service. The success of this strategy can be seen from the increasing number of sales and high customer satisfaction. The conclusion of this internship is that the success of the sales process depends not only on the quality of the products offered, but also on the professionalism of the sales team and the effectiveness of the marketing strategies used. This report is expected to provide insight for other automotive companies in optimizing their sales processes.
