Abstract

This report aims to analyze and optimize the official travel management process of the Bekasi City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD). The process of managing official travel data is an important function in supporting the effective performance of council members in carrying out legislative, supervisory and budgetary tasks. This process involves various stages from planning, submission, approval, implementation, to reporting and accountability. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method in one of the Bekasi City DPRDs. Data was collected through interviews, observation and analysis of related documents. The research results show that the process of managing official travel data in the DPRD faces several challenges, namely delays in the approval process, a lack of supporting documents in preparing budget use, as well as technical obstacles in the use of information systems that should simplify the data management process. Implementation of these recommendations is expected to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the official travel data management process in the Bekasi City DPRD, as well as strengthen accountability and transparency in the use of public budgets. In this way, council members can focus more on their main tasks and make a more optimal contribution to regional development.
