Abstract

Stability of staple food prices is a crucial aspect in maintaining public welfare and controlling inflation at the regional level. Implementation of the monitoring and reporting process of staple food prices and the obstacles faced at the Bekasi City Regional Secretariat. The methods used in this report are direct work practices, interviews and observations. Based on the findings in the field, this reporting process has not been supported by a digital system or integrated application, so that all stages are carried out manually and in stages. The price of staple food in Bekasi City still faces various obstacles, both in terms of technical, human resources, and support systems. For this reason, system updates, training, and strengthening of coordination between field officers, economic staff, and leaders are needed so that the reporting process can be faster, more accurate, and more efficient.
