Abstract

Transparent, accountable, and regulatory financial management is a crucial aspect in supporting the achievement of national education goals. One of the innovations developed by the government to support the management of education funds is the School Activity Plan and Budget Application (ARKAS) designed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. This application aims to simplify the process of preparing, reporting, and evaluating school budgets digitally to be efficient and accurate. However, its implementation in the field still faces various obstacles, such as limited user understanding, suboptimal resources, and the dynamics of school needs that are not always in accordance with the initial planning. This report is compiled based on internship activities carried out at SMKS Mandalahayu Bekasi, with the aim of finding out the application of the school budgeting and financial reporting system using ARKAS, as well as identifying obstacles faced in its implementation. The results of this activity are expected to be the basis for evaluation and input to increase the effectiveness of the use of ARKAS in school financial governance.
