Abstract

This internship report discusses the implementation of financial administration procedures in supporting the operational activities of the field team at PT. Multi Piranti Jaya (MPJ), a company engaged in telecommunication infrastructure installation and maintenance services. The Fieldwork Practice (PKL) was carried out in the Admin finance department for three months, during which the internship activities were focused on the submission, distribution, and reporting of operational funds through the Daily Financial Plan (RKH) system. The author was directly involved in the preparation of the RKH, the verification process of expenditure proofs, and the reporting of fund usage. The findings during the internship indicate the presence of several obstacle, such as delays in collecting of evidence (physical data), discrepancies between the proposed and utilized amount of funds, an approval process that depends on a single party, and a still-manual working system. These issues have the potential to hinder efficiency of financial management for the field team operations. Therefore, this report recommends the development of a digital system, the preparation of revised Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for funds, as well as strengthening archive management and training for the field team to enhance the effectiveness of the company’s financial administration procedures.
