Abstract

This internship report is based on the implementation of the Field Work Practice (PKL) at PT PLN (Persero) Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Bekasi, which was conducted over a period of three months, from May to August 2025. The author was assigned to the General Finance and Corporate Content Division, with a primary focus on creating infographic content as an educational medium for customers through the official Instagram account @plnbekasi. Infographics were chosen for their ability to present information in a concise, visual, and easily understandable format. The activities carried out during the internship included content planning, gathering relevant materials and visual elements, designing infographic layouts, submitting content for validation, and publishing the finalized content on the company's Instagram platform. The content themes covered topics such as PLN Mobile services, modern service innovations, and basic electricity education. The use of infographics aimed to improve public understanding of PLN services and reduce communication gaps that often result in customer complaints. Throughout the internship, the author encountered several challenges, including limited access to premium design software features and the need to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Nevertheless, this internship provided valuable practical experience relevant to management competencies, particularly in visual communication and digital media. It is expected that this report may contribute to the development of PLN’s public communication strategy and serve as a reference for future internship programs.
