Abstract

This internship report is based on the fieldwork conducted at PT Telkom Witel Bekasi, specifically in the Payment Collection unit. The internship took place from April 24 to June 26, 2025, and aimed to provide hands-on understanding of the receivables collection process as well as identify the challenges and solutions implemented. The author actively participated in customer caring activities, which involved calling customers to remind them of their payment obligations, as well as supporting tasks such as updating customer information and checking billing status through internal systems like Global Protect, My CX, and Sepulsa. Several obstacles were encountered during the internship, including limited access to computer facilities, customer complaints regarding network issues, and inaccurate or outdated contact data. These issues impacted the effectiveness of the collection process. Through observation, interviews, and active participation, the author gained insights into the importance of accurate data, interdepartmental collaboration, and customer service in supporting the company’s cash flow. This experience provided valuable practical knowledge about receivables management in the telecommunications industry.
