Abstract

This Internship Report is entitled "Shipping Goods via Expedition Transfer Transactions at PT Ardhya Bumi Persada" and is based on the author's direct experience during an internship at the company. PT Ardhya Bumi Persada is a logistics and distribution company, primarily engaged in shipping goods via air and land. The primary focus of this report is to examine the relationship between shipping fee transfer transactions and the company's shipping process, as well as how the management and recording of these transactions support smooth logistics distribution. The author observed that every shipping process involves a shipping fee transfer transaction made to a shipping partner. This transaction is then recorded in the company's financial system through an incoming bank journal, recognizing operational costs for shipping activities. This process involves coordination between the warehouse, operations, and finance divisions to ensure that each shipment is accurately recorded and documented.
