Abstract

This internship was conducted at the Bekasi City Branch of the BPJS Kesehatan (Healthcare and Social Security Agency) in the Membership Services Division, focusing on implementing service standards for creating new accounts and changing participant data through the Mobile JKN application. Challenges encountered in participant services included persistent difficulties in participant understanding of digital services and inconsistencies in uploaded data. The purpose of this internship was to understand the participant service process, identify any challenges, and analyze the role of student interns in supporting the implementation of service standards. Methods used included direct observation of the service process, interviews with staff, and documentation of internship activities. The analysis showed that the implementation of service standards was in accordance with established procedures and supported by the use of digital services. However, further assistance was needed for participants to optimize service delivery. In conclusion, the internship provided valuable experience and understanding regarding the implementation of participant service standards in government agencies.
