Abstract

The development of cryptocurrency investment, especially Bitcoin, has continued to increase. However, people's purchase intention toward Bitcoin is still influenced by various factors such as psychological factors, digital service quality, and application layout. Several problems frequently reported by application users, such as slow service responses, system disruptions, and an application interface that is not user-friendly, can affect users’ purchase intention. This study aims to determine the influence of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), E-Service Quality, and E-Layout on Bitcoin Purchase Intention among users of the Indodax application in Bekasi City.This research uses a quantitative method with a non-probability sampling technique through a purposive sampling approach. The criteria for respondents were Indodax application users aged 20–40 years who are interested in purchasing Bitcoin. The sample size used in this study was 96 respondents. Data processing was carried out using SPSS version 26.The results show that Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention with a t-value of 3.556 and a significance level of 0.001. E-Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention with a t-value of 3.572 and a significance level of 0.001. E-Layout also has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention with a t-value of 3.533 and a significance level of 0.001. Simultaneously, Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), E-Service Quality, and E-Layout have a significant effect on Purchase Intention with an F-value of 43.879 and a significance level of 0.000.The coefficient of determination test (R²) shows a value of 0.579 or 57.9%, which means that the independent variables in this study explain 57.9% of Purchase Intention, while the remaining 42.1% is explained by other variables outside this study.
