Abstract

This internship report aims to evaluate the implementation of the System Application and Product in Data Processing (SAP) in the claim payment process for four guarantee programs, namely Old Age Savings (THT), Pension Program, Work Accident Insurance (JKK), and Death Insurance (JKM) at PT TASPEN (Persero) Bekasi Branch. The approach chosen to compile this report includes literature review, documentation, and participatory observation during the internship period in the Finance division. The analysis results show that the use of the SAP Finance system has been running very well and is able to support efficiency as well as the accuracy of recording transactions in real-time. Internal obstacles include delays in the distribution of physical documents from the Service & Membership division (Services and membership) and the additional time caused by the rework process if there are data mismatches. The solution steps taken are to optimize accuracy at the secondary document verification stage and improve coordination and more intensive communication among the relevant work units.
