Abstract

Internship Report for the Accounting Program at Tri Bhakti College of Economics, titled “Procurement Procedures and Purchase Requests at PT Hanjaya Karya Gemilang.” The purpose of this internship report is to identify and understand the procurement procedures and purchase request processes implemented at PT Hanjaya Karya Gemilang. This internship report is based on the internship activities conducted at PT Hanjaya Karya Gemilang, a company engaged in the construction industry. The data collection methods used included observation, interviews, and literature review. The results of the internship report indicate that the procurement and requisition procedures are carried out through systematic stages, ranging from submitting a requisition, the approval process, purchasing from suppliers, to receiving and recording the goods. However, several challenges remain, such as delays in goods delivery from suppliers, sudden changes in project requirements, and limited human resources which result in some employees having to handle multiple tasks thereby potentially affecting the smooth operation of the procurement process.
