Abstract

The internship report for the Accounting Study Program at the Tri Bhakti School of Economics (STIE Tri Bhakti) is titled "Authentication Procedures for Civil Servant (PNS) Pension Fund Payments at PT Bank Mandiri Taspen, Bekasi Branch Office." The objective of this report is to examine and understand the authentication procedures employed during the Civil Servant (PNS) pension fund payment process at PT Bank Mandiri Taspen, Bekasi Branch Office. The study was conducted at PT Bank Mandiri Taspen, Bekasi Branch Office. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation review, and a literature study. The results indicate that the pension fund payment authentication procedures were carried out in accordance with company regulations and standard operating procedures, encompassing the verification of participant identities, authentication via the designated application, and data validation required for pension fund disbursement. Nevertheless, certain challenges arose during implementation, such as discrepancies in participant data, incomplete documentation, and intermittent system or network disruptions that hindered the authentication process. However, these issues were successfully addressed through coordination with relevant parties and adherence to established procedures, ensuring the pension fund payment process continued to operate effectively.
