Abstract

The purpose of this internship is to understand the product procurement process of Pelumas goods, and to find out the obstacles and solutions in the product procurement process at PT Lobunta Kencana Raya. This internship was conducted at PT Lobunta Kencana Raya, which operates in the distribution of lubricant products, with placement in the Operational Division of the Purchasing function. This internship report discusses the process of procuring lubricant products to support the smooth operation of the company. During the internship, I was involved in checking inventory, analyzing product needs, preparing purchase request letters, carrying out internal approval processes within the company through the finance Division, then the head of finance & operations, and the Head Office (HO), as well as submitting purchase requests to Pertamina as the company's supplier. Once the procurement process was approved, the received products were inspected and placed in the company's warehouse. Based on the results of the internship activities, It can be concluded that the process of procuring lubricant products plays an important role in keeping supplies available and supporting the company's operational activities. A procurement process carried out in a structured way through planning needs, stock control, and coordination with suppliers can help the company meet its material needs effectively and efficiently.
