Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and work-life balance on turnover intention in Generation Z employees in Bekasi. This study uses quantitative research design. The population in this study is Generation Z employees who are domiciled in the city of Bekasi. Sampling techniques in this study using non-probability sampling and sampling techniques purposive sampling. Samples were taken as many as 100 respondents using the criteria of respondents aged 17 years to 28 years are working and domiciled in the city of Bekasi. The data collection technique used in this study is the survey method, which is practiced by questionnaire method through google form, with a likert scale of 1-5. The results of this study, in the Partial Test (t test) with a significant level of 5% shows that compensation has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention with t count of 3.019 > t Table of 1.984 and the value of SIG. equal to 0.003 < 0.05. In the Partial Test (t test) with a significant level of 5% shows that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention with t count of 7.544 > t Table of 1.984 and the value of SIG. equal to 0.001 < 0.05. In the simultaneous Test (Test f) variable compensation and work-life balance significantly affect together the turnover intention with f count of 88.103 > F table of 3.09 and the value of SIG. equal to 0.001 < 0.05. The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) in this study is 0.638 or 63.8% which means that the independent variables used in this study are compensation and work-life balance can explain the turnover intention of 63.8% while the remaining 36.2% are explained by other variables not studied in this study such as job satisfaction, organizational culture, career development, work stress, workload, organizational commitment, work discipline, work motivation and leadership style.
