Abstract
Human resources are vital assets for a company in achieving productivity and competitiveness. Therefore, companies need to consider factors that can enhance employee performance, such as workload, self-efficacy, and work discipline. This study aims to analyze the influence of workload, self-efficacy, and work discipline on the performance of contract employees at PT XYZ. A quantitative approach using a survey method was employed. The study population consisted of 109 contract employees. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software, version 25. The results indicate that workload has a significant positive partial effect on contract employee performance, with a calculated t-value of 4.154 and a significance value of 0.000. Similarly, self-efficacy has a significant positive partial effect on performance, with a calculated t-value of 3.866 and a significance value of 0.000. Work discipline also shows a significant positive partial effect, with a calculated t-value of 3.011 and a significance value of 0.003. Simultaneously, workload, self-efficacy, and work discipline have a significant positive effect on contract employee performance, with a calculated F-value of 99.041 and a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R-Square) result of 0.731 indicates that the three independent variables explain 73.1% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 26.9% is influenced by variables outside the scope of this study. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that managing workload proportionally, enhancing self-efficacy, and strengthening work discipline play crucial roles in improving the performance of contract employees at PT XYZ.
