Abstract

This study aims to analyze and prove the influence of financial literacy, digital trust, and perceived ease of use on the intention to use digital saving applications among Generation Z in Bekasi City, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative associative approach with a population of Generation Z aged 17-27 years in Bekasi City. The sample was determined to be 100 respondents through a non-probability sampling technique using the accidental sampling method, with data collection through a questionnaire processed using multiple linear regression analysis assisted by SPSS version 27. The results show that financial literacy, digital trust, and perceived ease of use each have a positive and significant partial effect on the intention to use digital saving applications, with digital trust being the most dominant variable (Beta = 0.398), followed by perceived ease of use (Beta = 0.358) and financial literacy (Beta = 0.173). Simultaneously, the three variables were also proven to have a significant effect on intention to use, with an Fcount value of 43.368 at a significance of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.562 indicates that the three independent variables are able to explain 56.2% of the variation in intention to use digital saving applications, while the remainder is influenced by other variables outside this study. This study concludes that the strengthening of digital trust, ease of application use, and financial literacy among Generation Z needs to be continuously improved by digital saving service providers in order to encourage a higher intention to use.
