Abstract

Logistik Indonesia (POSLOG) is an integrated logistics service based on Supply Chain Management (SCM). Delivery on the East Jakarta POS Processing Center (SPP) (JAT)-POS Processing Center (SPP) Bandung route still uses vendor-owned transportation services. So this study aims to compare operational costs that have effectiveness and efficiency to the value between using own operational vehicles or using rental vehicles. In this study, practice uses the Net Present Value method. Based on POSLOG BO Jakarta fleet rental data on the SPP JAT-SPP Bandungroute is IDR 45,600,000 / month. Based on the results of forecasting calculations that have been carried out practically on cash flow for 5 years, it was found that net cash flow is positive every year. In the 1st year it was Rp 428.244.777, the 2nd year was Rp 421.874.083, the 3rd year was Rp 417.176.468, the 4th year was Rp 412.218.676, and the 5th year was Rp 406.985.867. Based on the results of the Net Present Value (NPV) calculation, the investment made is declared feasible because the Net Present Value (NPV) is IDR 261,050,808 > 0.
