Abstract

Determination of inventory is important to pay attention to because it can have an impact on company profits. CV. Super Yummy always makes inventory planning, especially for high quality raw materials, every two weeks to avoid material shortages. But on the other hand, sometimes they don't take into account holidays that have an impact on increasing purchases such as Sunday mornings, people's party festivals, cool Depok festivals which cause many customers to be disappointed because the product they want to buy is not available.The variety of products offered, plus the affordable prices, attracts a lot of con sumer interest, but sometimes the products they sell are often not available because inventory control over the use of products causes many products to be damaged and stale. Poorly organized storage causes accumulation of unused products which causes losses in product storage. Therefore, this study aims to determine and evaluate the process of planning and controlling the inventory process for the best seller CV. SuperYummy. This research method through the recording of primary and secondary data. Data collection through field work practices by means of interviews and observations, data recording as well as documentation. The results of this study indicate planning and inventory control of PT. Super Yummy is once every two weeks according to the time applied to the procurement of raw material supplies. So that where the sales profit obtained does not increase, the researcher suggests that this company use forecasting methods and apply an inventory assessment first in first out (Firs In First Out).
