Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve employee data management, improve data accuracy and security, and facilitate access and searchfor employee data. The methods used in this research include literature research, observation, and interviews with competent sources in the field of human resource management and staffing databases. The results of the study show that PT Deksha Orla Tranggana has used an employee database using Microsoft Excel software. The employee database includes important information such as location, name, NIK, position, project date of birth, address, telephone number, NPWP, bank account number, BPJS, and other career information. However, there are severalobstacles in implementing the use of the employee database at PT Deksha Orla Tranggana. These obstacles include the difficulty in obtaining prospective employees with the appropriate certifications and licenses, the high cost of career training which is an obstacle for some employees, and incomplete identity data foremployees who wish to join the company. By implementing the use of a good employee database, PT Deksha Orla Tranggana can overcome obstacles in managing employee data and prevent irregularities in work data. The use of an efficient database will increase the speed and ease of accessing data, efficiency of data storage space, and increase the accuracy and security of data.
