Abstract

This case study aims to analyze the profile of prospective betta fish consumers and analyze the size of potential markets through Instagram writers. Case study data comes from the results of an online questionnaire via Google Form. The method used is the Chain Ratio Method. The analysis showed that the majority of respondents were male, age group (21-30 years), high school / equivalent education level, type of work of private employees, hobbies to care for animals, for the majority of domiciles were outside of Bekasi City while for Bekasi City were Bekasi east. The majority of respondents answered the benefit of maintaining ornamental betta fish is that it can relieve stress, the most constraint experienced by maintaining ornamental betta fish is that it is difficult to find fish food. The majority of the size and age of the largest betta fish are M / 5 months / TL 4.5 cm which is a type of special betta fish (Breeding), the biggest color characteristics of betta fish are Multicolour, the shape of ornamental fish fins Hickey is needed is the type of fish plaque. The total market potential using Instagram is IDR 627,180,162 a year.
