Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of Working Capital Turnover, and Operating Expenses on the Net Profit Margin (NPM) in the processed food industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2021–2025. The research method used was quantitative, with EViews 14 as the software used to process the data. The sampling technique employed in this study was purposive sampling, resulting in a sample size of 23 companies. The results show that, when analyzed individually, Working Capital Turnover has a significant negative effect on the Net Profit Margin with a significance value of 0.02114 < 0.05, while Operating Costs do not have a significant effect on the Net Profit Margin with a significance value of 0.30533 > 0.05. Simultaneously, these two independent variables have a significant effect on the Net Profit Margin, with a probability value (F-statistic) smaller than the significance level: 0.000001 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination is 0.575441, or 57.54%.
