Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy and investment strategy on stock investment decisions with risk profile as a moderating variable among individual investors in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study was motivated by the rapid growth in the number of individual investors, which has not been fully accompanied by adequate financial literacy, potentially affecting the quality of investment decisions. This research employed a quantitative approach with a causal-associative research design. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 individual investors selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with interaction effects through IBM SPSS Statistics 27 after passing the instrument validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on stock investment decisions. Investment strategy also has a positive and significant effect on stock investment decisions. In contrast, risk profile does not have a significant effect on stock investment decisions. Furthermore, the interaction analysis reveals that risk profile does not moderate the relationship between financial literacy and stock investment decisions, nor the relationship between investment strategy and stock investment decisions. These findings indicate that individual investors' stock investment decisions are more strongly influenced by their level of financial literacy and the quality of their investment strategies than by differences in their risk profiles. Therefore, improving financial knowledge and the ability to formulate and implement appropriate investment strategies plays a more important role in supporting rational stock investment decisions than the investors' risk profile characteristics
