Abstract

High workload demands can be the main cause of employees choosing to leave the company because they are unable to cope with the physical and mental stress caused. This condition has a negative impact on PT Selaras Citra Nusantara Perkasa Tbk, especially with the increasing number of employee turnover. Excessive workload also has the potential to reduce work motivation, which ultimately increases the possibility of continuous turnover. This study aims to test and analyze the effect of work motivation and workload on employee turnover at PT Selaras Citra Nusantara Perkasa Tbk using multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses a quantitative method with a population of 95 staff employees at PT Selaras Citra Nusantara Perkasa Tbk. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique, with a total of 77 respondents. The data analysis techniques used include partial tests (T tests) and simultaneous tests (F tests) to test the effect of work motivation and workload on employee turnover. The results showed that work motivation did not have a significant effect on employee turnover, with a partial test (F test) of 1.649 <t table 1.99254 and a significance of 0.103> 0.05. On the other hand, workload has a positive and significant effect, indicated by the results (T test) 15.987 > t table 1.99254 and significance 0.001 < 0.05. Simultaneously, motivation and workload together have a significant effect on turnover, with (F test) 177.481 > F table 3.12 and significance 0.001 < 0.05.
