Abstract

This internship report discusses the process of data collection and verification of aid beneficiaries at the Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) of Bekasi City, particulary in the Humanitarian Program for Mosque Caretakers (Marbot). The purpose of the internship was to understand the process of collecting and verifying beneficiary data and to identify the challenge encountered during its implementation. The methods used in preparing this report included observation, interviews, and documentation. During the internship, the author was directly involved in collecting prospective beneficiary data, verifying the consistency between physical and digital data, compiling the master database, preparing receipt forms and attendance lists, and assisting in the aid distribution process. The results of the internship indicate that the data collection and verification process was carried out systematically to ensure that the assistance was distributed accurately to the intended beneficiaries. However, several challenges were identified, including incomplete supporting documents, discrepancies between physical and digital data, and delays in data submission from the sub-distract offices. Based on the internship findings, it can be concluded that accuracy, coordination, and effective administrative management are essential to support an efficient, transparent, and well-targeted process of data collection, verification, and aid beneficiaries.
