Abstract

Advances in information technology are driving organizations to implement digital systems for asset management to improve data effectiveness, accuracy, and accountability. The BPJS Kesehatan Headquarters uses the Integrated Management Asset and Procurement System (IMAPS) as its asset management system. An issue identified in the asset data entry process is a minimum asset value threshold of Rp2,500,000, which prevents assets valued below that threshold from being recorded in the system. The objective of this internship is to understand the IMAPS-based asset entry process, identify the challenges faced, and understand the role of IMAPS in supporting asset management. The methods used include observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The analysis results show that the asset entry process is conducted in an integrated manner, starting from the receipt of procurement documents, data entry, verification, to the printing of asset barcodes. IMAPS has proven to support more effective asset recording, monitoring, and reporting. However, stricter data verification and supplementary inventory records are still needed for assets that cannot yet be entered into the system. Thus, the implementation of IMAPS contributes to improving the effectiveness of asset management at the BPJS Kesehatan Headquarters.
