Abstract

This study was motivated by the suboptimal control of raw material inventory at CV. Fortuna Argatech, as indicated by inventory discrepancies, delays in fulfilling production material requirements, and the ineffective management of warehouse operations. This study aims to analyze the effect of Warehouse Management System, Warehouse Layout, and Demand Management on Raw Material Inventory Control at CV. Fortuna Argatech. This research employed a quantitative method using descriptive and verification approaches. The sampling technique applied was saturated sampling (census) involving 30 warehouse employees as respondents. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 27, including data quality testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test), and coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that the Warehouse Management System has a positive and significant effect on Raw Material Inventory Control with a t-value of 2.582 and a significance value of 0.016 (<0.05). Warehouse Layout also has a positive and significant effect with a t-value of 8.150 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Furthermore, Demand Management has a positive and significant effect with a t-value of 9.927 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) and is identified as the most dominant variable influencing inventory control. Simultaneously, Warehouse Management System, Warehouse Layout, and Demand Management have a positive and significant effect on Raw Material Inventory Control with an F-value of 75.753, a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), and an F-table value of 2.98. The coefficient of determination test shows an R Square value of 0.897, indicating that the three independent variables explain 89.7% of the variation in Raw Material Inventory Control, while the remaining 10.3% is influenced by other variables outside this study. These findings indicate that improving the implementation of the Warehouse Management System, optimizing warehouse layout, and strengthening Demand Management practices can significantly enhance raw material inventory control at CV. Fortuna Argatech.
